At The Wheelhouse Inn we have established the following policies in order to maintain the highest quality of service for all guests both present and future: Smoking Due to the increasing number of people with allergies we offer a smoke free home. Smokers are still welcome to enjoy a smoke on the covered front veranda, on the large open deck in the back, or even while walking about enjoying the spacious well groomed grounds and garden area. Pets Once again due to the increasing number of people with allergies we do not allow pets in the indoor guest areas. We are very fond of pets and have some of our own, but they are confined to the outdoors and non-guest areas. If you are travelling with pets we would be happy to find a comfortable place for your pets during your stay. Children We are also very fond of children and have no problem with them staying with us provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Cancellations If you have previously booked accommodations and feel you are unable to keep the booking as scheduled, we would prefer to have 24 hours of notice. However, we realize that when travelling it is not always easy to assess travelling times or have access to phones, so if you are unable to notify us 24 hours in advance we prefer that you give us as much notice as possible in that situation. If you have not notified us by 6:00 PM the night of the reservation it could result in a charge to your visa account.
